On behalf of Wisconsin Family Forests Deerfield Oasis Alliance, I am extending this invitation to you. Please seriously consider joining with your neighbors and become an active member of Wisconsin Family Forests. Maybe you have read about us in the local paper or someone has mentioned us along the way; you may have even attended one of our winter workshops or a walk-in-the-woods.

We have many of the same concerns, and have many of the same goals for our woodlots as you do. We are not perfect by any means, but we all stand to gain by learning from each other.

We feel we can help you by providing you with trusted local contractors that can help you take on any project you desire. We can provide you with trusted “Certified Master Loggers” for timber harvests, and area consulting foresters for your long term management planning.

Your membership fee is put to good use in many ways including postage and printing for our newsletters, and purchasing of rental equipment you can use in your woodlot at a reduced rate. Our hope for the future would include aggressive programs to combat invasive species such as buckthorn, garlic mustard and spotted knapweed.

As you can clearly see, we are simply not a coffee and doughnuts organization; we want to continue to move forward and make things happen.
